How does the AI magic work? Do I need a smartphone?
Yes! To keep our bear ultra-soft, lightweight, and perfectly huggable, the "brain" of the AI is powered by our free companion app on your smartphone or tablet. This is actually a huge plus: it keeps the toy safe from heavy internal computers, ensures the AI gets smarter with every app update, and gives parents total control over the connection! Just pair it via Bluetooth, and the magic begins.
Is there a monthly subscription fee for the AI features?
Absolutely not! We hate hidden fees as much as you do. Once you bring your bear home, you get full, unlimited access to all the interactive voice features through the app. No monthly subscriptions, no paywalls—just endless fun.
Is this a good toy for my child to play with completely on their own?
It depends on their age! For toddlers and preschoolers, it’s a fantastic "co-play" experience to enjoy together with a parent (since it uses your phone). Older kids with their own tablets or smart devices will love chatting with their new smart buddy independently. Does it take regular batteries, and how long does the charge last?
No need to hunt for AA batteries! The bear comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Because active AI conversations use energy, we recommend putting the bear down for a "nap" (turning it off) when interactive playtime is over. This extends the battery life and ensures your bear is fully charged and ready for its next big adventure!
